This is the original card paper of Hiiikawa Washi from Unnan City, Shimane Prefecture.
The embossed pattern of the wood grain is clearly revealed by stretching the paper over an old drying board and drying it in the sun.
It has a unique texture as if it were wood itself.
One edge of the postcard is left untrimmed.
